This policy covers the launch-notification form and the affiliate application/referral features on this website. Before public launch, final service providers and retention periods must be documented here.

What is collected

The launch form stores your email address, optional name, signup source, submission time and a one-way hash of the submitting IP address. Affiliate applications may also store account details, website/social profile links, audience information and application answers. Affiliate referral tracking stores a random first-party visitor token, referral landing page, timestamps and keyed hashes of limited network/browser metadata for attribution and abuse prevention; raw IP and user-agent values are not stored in the affiliate tables.

Why it is collected

Only to send one email — the single launch email. Affiliate data is used to review partner applications, attribute referrals, prevent duplicate or invalid commissions, provide affiliate reporting, administer commissions and payouts, and maintain required financial audit records.

Sharing and retention

The site includes a Stripe Checkout integration that can be enabled for payments and currently uses manual PayPal or Wise affiliate payouts. Before public launch, the production providers, data-retention periods and applicable provider privacy terms must be reviewed and documented. Information should be shared only with providers needed to operate the requested service, process verified transactions or payouts, meet legal obligations, or protect the service from abuse.

Affiliate cookie

When a valid affiliate referral link is used, the site sets an HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax first-party cookie named dhan_ref_token. The cookie contains a random token rather than an affiliate ID or commission value and is used to resolve server-side attribution for the configured attribution period (30 days by default).
